At InterceptEFT, we are committed to safeguarding customer information. Your privacy is our number one priority, InterceptEFT will not share nonpublic information about your company with third parties outside of the InterceptEFT family without your consent, except as explained in our Privacy Policy.

From time to time, we may communicate to you special offers for products or services of third parties outside of the InterceptEFT family, which we believe may be of interest to you, as explained in our Privacy Policy. However, we will not provide these third parties with any nonpublic information about you without your consent.

InterceptEFT has created its Privacy Policy to communicate our commitment to you, and to serve your privacy needs.

Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to InterceptEFT. We want you to understand what information we may gather and how we may share it. This Privacy Policy explains InterceptEFT's collection, use, retention and security of information about you.

Collection of Information

As part of providing you with electronic transaction processing or other services, we may obtain information about you from the following sources.
  • applications, forms, and other information that you provide to us, whether in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically or by other means. This information may include, but not limited to: your name, address, income and references;
  • your transactions with us, our affiliates (members of the InterceptEFT family), or others. This information may include, but not limited to: account usage, account balances, transaction history;
  • reporting agencies. This information may include account information and information about your creditworthiness;
  • public sources. This information may include, but not limited to: telephone numbers, public filings.

When you browse any InterceptEFT web page, you do so anonymously. Personal information, including your e-mail address, is not collected. Some of our web pages, however, may request that you voluntarily supply us with personal information, such as your name, address and email address, but this information is used solely to fulfill your request for information.

Sharing of Information Outside the InterceptEFT Family

We are required to or we may provide information about you to third parties outside of the InterceptEFT family without your consent, as permitted by law, such as,
  • to respond to a subpoena or court order, judicial process or regulatory authorities;
  • to reporting agencies;
  • in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, or transfer of all or a portion of a business or an operating unit;
  • to protect against fraud.
In addition, we may provide information about you to our service providers to help us process your applications or service your accounts. Our service providers may include, but are not limited to: billing service providers, mail and telephone companies, insurers, attorneys and other professionals.

We may also provide information about your company to our service providers to help us perform marketing services (including the marketing of InterceptEFT products and services and the products and services on non-InterceptEFT companies). The information provided to these service providers may include the categories of information described above under "Collection of Information" limited to only that which we deem appropriate for these service providers to carry out their functions.

We do not provide nonpublic information about you to any non-InterceptEFT company whose products and services are being marketed unless you authorize us to do so. These non-InterceptEFT companies are not allowed to use this information for purposes beyond your specific authorization.

Sharing of Information Within the InterceptEFT Family

We also may share information about you within our corporate family of financial service companies. InterceptEFT and its corporate family may share with each other all of the categories of information we gather about you, including identification information (such as your name and address), credit reports (such as your credit history), application information (such as your income or credit references), your account transactions and experiences with us (such as your payment history), and information from other third parties.

By sharing this information, InterceptEFT can better understand your needs. We can then send you notification of new products and special promotional offers that you might not otherwise know about.

You may prohibit the sharing of application and third party credit-related information within InterceptEFT's corporate family. Simply mail a written request, with your name, address and PIN or account number, to the following address:

We will honor your choice on restricting information sharing. However, the restriction does not extend to the sharing of other information, including your name and address, and your account transactions and experiences, within InterceptEFT's corporate family.

Sharing of Information of our Former Customers

Even if you are no longer an InterceptEFT Customer, our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you.

Security Practices and Information Accuracy

We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to the application and account information of our customers to those employees who need to know that information in the course of their job responsibilities. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with industry standards for the protection of customer information.

In addition, we have internal controls to keep customer information as accurate and complete as possible. If you believe that any information about you is not accurate, please let us know.

When you log into InterceptEFT, we require that a "secure session" first be established using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This ensures that your confidential personal information is not seen by anyone but InterceptEFT.

Other Information

This Privacy Policy applies to products or services provided by InterceptEFT, used primarily for business purposes. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy, and any of the policies described above, at any time. The examples contained in this Privacy Policy are illustrations; they are not intended to be exclusive.
